Murpy's Law of Catechesis

When you make a commitment to join the Church, whatever can go wrong usually does.

I had been warned about this when I became a catechumen. I had a bit of a bumpy ride, but it wasn't that bad.

I braced myself for it when my husband was enrolled into the catechumenate. I even teased him a bit about it. I had no idea that this time it would be this difficult. It is like life is throwing everything at us at once. Everything that can break has... repeatedly (including both cars). Every situation that can have a bad outcome is doing so. Employment is being threatened and unknown unavoidable expenses suddenly pop up out of nowhere.

I pray that he has a short catechesis.
